Why a Tamarisk Tree
The firm’s name refers to a Tamarisk tree: a legacy tree planted by Abraham (see Genesis 21:33) in response to God’s promise. Tamarisk trees are native to desert climates, providing shade and cool air for weary travelers. But they are very slow-growing trees. Abraham planted the Tamarisk tree as an act of faith, not for himself, but for his future generations.
